When you are on a winning streak, it is easy to feel invincible. Losing becomes a distant thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcad You might even start thinking of the casino as your personal ATM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But complacency is dangerous, and the odds have a way of catching up<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I found myself in a losing streak like no other<\/strong>. The very formula that had brought me success now led to my downfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staring at my bank balance, I realized I had two months left<\/strong> in my exchange program\u2014and no money<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a matter of hours, I had travelled from heaven to hell<\/strong> on the highway of emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desperate and in a foreign land, I set aside my pride and reached out to everyone I knew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
